Dr. Simeon’s later experimented with HCG in different amounts and with different foods. After intense study on the subject, Dr. Simeon’s published his finding about the advantages of HCG in 1954. He asked his patients to reduce their calorie consumption to 500 a day. They were successful in restricting their intake without experiencing irritability, weakness, or hunger pangs. He proved that his food plan combined with the right amount of HCG can lead to abnormal fat loss in a short period of time. In his further research, he discovered that HCG injections also help reshape the body, besides just weight loss.
Criticism Is the Price of Success
With the increased popularity of HCG Diet, dieters started following the HCG diet plan. However, with the rampant success came criticism. While some people who had benefited from the plan couldn’t stop praising the HCG diet, there were also many who condemned the diet calling it unfit, unhealthy and useless. However, the criticism didn’t affect the popularity of the HCG diet plan.

The 500 low calorie diet: The dosage of HCG drops has to be the same as before: three times per day but the diet plan changes drastically.
